This interactive workshop for teachers and parents will explore the memory formation process and the arts as an invaluable tool in teaching. Participants will learn about the stages of memorization, experience what it is like to be a neuron and take part in several lessons supported by brain-based learning theories. Researchers believe that the more meaningful the association of encoded information, the more likely for it to be remembered. The arts help create sense, meaning, and emotional connection to what is being taught.
